The story of our company has its origin with captain Bartolo Taranto.
Aeolian by origin and who in 1993, after years of experience, begins the TARANTO NAVIGAZIONE s.a.s.; by his side, his son Davide and all the Taranto family.
Nowadays, the TARANTO Group is the leader in supplying Daily Minicruises to the Aeolian Islands and is also the partner of the most important national and international Tour Operators.
The daily minicruise service is provided for individuals and small groups entrusted to expert staff with years of experience.
Other services provided: maritime connections, excursions and private rental.
Through the years, with dedication, commitment and determination of the TARNAV family, the companies have registered a constant growth.
This company aims at reaching new achivments in the tourist industry, focusing in particular on tourist needs, on quality and attention to all details.
Since 2009, TARNAV is also ISO 9001 certified company.
THE STAFF
The staff is constantly updated and motivated to achieve common results of growth and of improvement of customer service. The crew is selected amongst experts of Aeolian origin, to ensure customers the opportunity to visit unique places, which are often not included in traditional circuits. The ground staff has years of experience in managment services, and contact with customers, including foreign tourists.
THE FLEET
The TARNAV group has a fleet of 4 fast ships.
All ships have the highest standards of safety guaranteed and certified by Genova’s RINA offices (Italian Shipping Register) and by the SMS System (Safety Management System) which certifies the highest standards of international security. The boats are provided with bar, restaurant, services, lounge area and solarium. The lounge areas are arranged with large plasma screens where customers, in real time, can follow the route, with all the navigation data.

2000 - TARNAV srl was founded
2000 - Opening of the first ticket office in Milazzo (ME)
2001 - Opening of the ticket office in Venetico (ME)
2001 - Lauching of the Eolian Princess ship
2003 - Launching of the Eolian Star ship
2008 - Lauching of the fourth ship, the mother ship Eolian Queen
2009 - New transfer services Land/Sea from the important Sicilian airports
2009 - Opening of the second ticket office in Milazzo
2009 - ISO 9001 certification.
